2008 Crossover

With both active and passive safety equipment, the Peugeot 2008 Crossover gives you absolute peace of mind, without ever taking your control as a driver away.

The 2008 Crossover comes with the latest-generation Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), which is able to detect the first signs of a sideways skid and helps reduce oversteer. It keeps the car on course by reducing engine power and braking individual wheels. Department of Transport statistics reveal that cars fitted with ESP are 25% less likely to be involved in fatal accidents.

To keep you as safe as possible, the 2008 Crossover has six air bags as standard – two in the front, two beside the driver and front passenger and two along the sides of the car.

Cornering front fog lights. This function allows the front fog lights to light up bends in the road when the speed is below 40km/h – perfect for winding roads and parking manoeuvres. (Allure level only)

Grip Control, available on Allure level, is an advanced traction control system which allows the 2008 Crossover to grip the road in all conditions by optimising the traction of both front wheels. Five modes are available: standard, snow, all terrain, sand and ESP.

Hill starts are now a breeze, thanks to the 2008 Crossover’s Hill Assist feature. When the car’s on a slope, it keeps the brakes on for about two seconds after you take your foot off, making it much easier for you to move off and prevents you rolling back.
