The race for the most dirt continues across South Africa. After conquering some of the country’s toughest mountain passes in Episode 1, our teams are back – this time behind the wheel of the Peugeot Landtrek Single Cab Workhorse.
Starting from Rhodes, they face freezing conditions, steep climbs and a special delivery challenge. Their mission: travel as many dirt kilometres as possible while transporting building supplies from Mount Fletcher to Mount Hargreaves Secondary School.
After conquering mountain passes and dirt roads through the Eastern Cape Highlands, our two teams hit the road once more. In Episode 3, the Peugeot Landtrek takes on the Wild Coast, with both teams delivering supplies to local farms and the Silaka Nature Reserve near Port St Johns. From clearing fallen trees with the Landtrek’s pulling power to exploring Magwa Falls, the crews put the workhorse to the test.
From the mountain peaks of Lady Grey to the shores of Coffee Bay, our two teams have pushed the Peugeot Landtrek to its limits, proving what it means to be pretty, tough. In this episode, they make one last push through the rugged Transkei, crossing washed-out bridges, tackling river crossings, and navigating the winding backroads to the finish line. With only 52 kilometres separating them, it’s anyone’s game. Who will take the crown – Team 1 or Team 2?
