Tangible results
For many years now, the Peugeot Brand has been innovating to reduce the fuel consumption but also the CO2 emissions of its vehicles.
In early 2008, the Blue Lion approach can already post very tangible results:
•Since 2000, Peugeot has sold more than 1,600,000 passenger cars provided with a DPFS (diesel particulate filter system).
•Since 2001, around 1,100,000 cars emitting less than 120 g of CO2/km have been registered by Peugeot in Europe (14 countries).
•In 2007, 40% of the passenger cars registered in Europe by Peugeot emit less than 130 g of CO2/km.
•All the Brand's vehicles are manufactured in plants having ISO 14001 certification and are designed to be 95% recoverable at end of life.
