3 Year / 100 000km Roadside Assistance

As the proud owner of a Peugeot, you are driving a state-of-the-art vehicle. If properly maintained, chances are extremely remote that your vehicle will ever require any unforeseen mechanical repairs.

However, for added peace of mind, Peugeot South Africa brings you Peugeot Assistance, a comprehensive Roadside Assistance programme, provided free of charge, for the duration of the Warranty of the vehicle, 3 years or 100 000km whichever transpires first.

As a member of Peugeot Assistance, not only will help be at hand immediately in the unfortunate event of your car experiencing a breakdown, but you will also receive a comprehensive range of benefits such as free medical advice, arrangement of emergency transportation and a 24 hour information service, all for the cost of a local phone call.

Roadside service
Peugeot Assistance will immediately come to your aid, wherever you are (within the borders of South Africa, Swaziland, Lesotho, Botswana and Namibia), providing assistance with flat tyres, flat batteries, delivery of fuel and assisting if with keys are accidentally locked in your vehicle (fuel and locksmiths fees for your own account).

Towing service / Technician
Peugeot Assistance will send a technician to facilitate the repair should your car break down. However, if the repair to the vehicle cannot be done on the spot they will arrange for the vehicle to be towed to the nearest Peugeot Dealer.

Safe storage
If necessary, Peugeot Assistance will arrange free safe storage for your vehicle for up to 48 hours.

Repatriation of vehicle
In the case of the repair not being expedited immediately at a Peugeot Dealership located more than 100 km from your home, Peugeot Assistance will arrange to have your vehicle returned to you free of charge.

Travel Service/Car Hire
Should you be stranded more than 100 km from your home, due to your vehicle undergoing unscheduled repairs, Peugeot Assistance will arrange for either one night’s accommodation or make the necessary car hire bookings so that you can continue your journey to your destination anywhere in South Africa, Swaziland, Lesotho, Botswana and Namibia. In order to qualify for a car hire you must be in possession of a valid credit card. The relaying of urgent messages and telephonic directions will also be taken care of.

Medical Assistance
A single call will trigger the Peugeot Assistance agent to facilitate a conference call between yourself and an Emergency Service to ensure you receive the support you need. (The charge generated by the Service Provider will be for your account or that of your Medical Aid).

Information Assistance on Peugeot Products
Outside of normal working hours, Peugeot Assistance will supply you with information pertaining to Peugeot product, including information relating to fuel and oil recommendations, service intervals, tyre maintenance, warning systems and applications and accessory enquiries.

Peugeot Network
Information regarding dealer locations or contact details will be provided by Peugeot Assistance. During normal office hours, information on the above, as well as information on Peugeot Servicing, Maintenance Plans, Warranty Conditions, New Service Offers and Future Promotions can be obtained from the Peugeot Customer Care Centre.
