SIGNS OF SHOCK ABSORBER WEAR

  • Abnormal tendency of the vehicle to drift in tight curves.
  • “Floating of the vehicle” in large curves.
  • Dull clicks noted when passing over a speed bump.
  • Wheels jump when accelerating causing loss of grip.
  • Oil leak detected on shock absorber body.
  • Abnormal tire wear.

 

RECOMMENDATIONS

Have your shock absorbers checked by your PEUGEOT specialist every 20,000 km.

If you observe one or more of these signs of wear, consult your PEUGEOT specialist as soon as possible. Have the suspension stops checked when changing the shock absorbers, and if necessary, do not hesitate to have them changed.
