02 12 2010Peugeot RCZ named Top Gear magazines Coupe of the Year
Posted by Richard Sinclair

Peugeot RCZ beat off stiff competition to be named Top Gear magazine's Coupe of the Year 2010.
The automotive magazine tested the car to the limit on the roads of northern China in the proximity of the Great Wall.
According to Top Gear, the Peugeot RCZ is a "beautifully balanced car" and is also easy to drive.
"Low and wide, it always feels completely on your side, gripping hard, resorting to understeer only at the limit," the writers added.
Priced from £20,450, the vehicle was launched in June and over 2,000 units have already been sold in the UK.
It is available with a choice of three engine options – a 200bhp or 156bhp THP turbo-charged petrol engine and a 163bhp HDi diesel.
Last month, Peugeot announced that 500,000 units of another of its vehicles – the 107 – had been produced since its launch in 2005.
Some 108,200 of these were produced in 2008 and 116,100 in 2009.
