We would like to state that approximately 240000 Peugeot 307 vehicles manufactured between 2003 and 2006 have been recalled due to the potential technical problems associated with ABS and ESP systems.

We would like to emphasize that thus far the problem only affects in the long term those areas that exhibit a combination of specific conditions such as high levels of humidity, wide fluctuations in temperatures, extended winter seasons and intensive salting of the roads.

Automobile Peugeot has confirmed that South Africa does not fall into this category and will not be affected.
